Ok, so this is the big place round here and we have been there today in nearly 40 degree heat but Florence still packs a punch in stunning visual sights. Here are a couple of photos to keep you interested in our wonderful blog. Also filling in for the fact we have had a lot of guests recently and I have not had time to write a fuller blog for this week. Please keep sending me encouraging comments!!

I presume it must be Darren unless you are setting the guests to work for you!!! Or is it the chainsaw gang? It’s a very expensive Mars bar I think!

Hi Malcolm and Darren
Having finally worked out how to use the blog (I think) and identified the mystery gardener as very obviously Ben, I hereby claim my Mars bar. I have of course not seen all the marvelous pictures before and am on envy overdrive, particularly about the Puccini festival.
You’ve done a fantastic job on the house/apartments – I’d only seen the early pictures previously – which look very classy.
Joan loves Italy and the look of the area around you and wants to see about coming over for a few days next year. I’ll read you blog again when we get back from Kenya to see what September is like weatherwise.
