After four weeks in which we have moved lock and stock to Italy; after four weeks of shifting, moving, shopping and painting; our new apartment is ready for our first guests. The weather here has been lovely for a few weeks now though it has rained all day today. The wisteria is coming out on the terrace, the buttercups and fresh green grass decorate the raodsides, and the trees are nearly in full leaf in the woods. All across our valley are many other ancient hamlets such as Fibialla, Aramo, Sorana and Castelvecchio. All of these are worth visiting and have charms of their own and always fantastic views of the olive groves and terraces that patchwork the valleriana above Pescia.
We look forward to many friends visiting us and many other guests in the new apartment that has it’s own great views.
